2017 Rider Instructions & Details

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
We are thrilled to have you participate in the 4th annual Lunar Lunacy ride this Saturday, August 5th, benefiting CASA Sacramento's Making Memories Program and other local children's charities! We highly encourage you to dress up, light up your bikes and be as creative & wacky as possible.

While you are getting your bike ready, we are busy preparing for a night of FUN. Everything you need to know about the ride is below.
Registration Packet Pickup

Early registration packet pickup is offered the day before the ride on August 4th from 11am-8pm at REI Sacramento. You are not required to pickup your packet the day before the ride*, but doing so helps speed up the registration process so you can enjoy the pre-ride festival as long as possible on ride night.

*If you don't attend the packet pickup on August 4th you can get your packet at the registration booth the night of the ride starting at 7pm.

Note: If you are picking up someone else's registration packet, you need to bring their signed waiver. To download the waiver click here. No exceptions, sorry!

Safety: This year we have a closed course. There will be Lunar Lunacy staff leading the ride and riding along with participants. SAG vehicles are at 3 key locations, Miller Park, Old Sacramento and Railyard Blvd. Every turn will have someone with a flashlight to direct traffic flow. We have a bike mechanic who will sweep the course to ensure minor repairs can be made along the course. If needed the SAG vehicles will provide transportation for you and your bike back to Capitol Mall.

Finish Line Photos: Don't forget to note your ride finish time in order to snag your finish line photo at the Lightning Prints booth!
